Document Scanning

Our scanning service is available for any size of document from postage stamps to A3 (297mm x 420mm). We can scan in Full Colour and Black & White direct to your USB Memory Stick. Our scanner works in the much the same way as our photocopier and can scan large documents upto 100 pages with ease in black and white or full colour.

The most popular format we are asked for is PDF (portable document format), this format is popular as the document can not be amended in anyway and is perfect for sharing across the internet or for storage on your computer.

We can scan at a variety of qualities these are

• 200 x 200dpi - this is a low quality is perfect for emailing
• 300 x 300dpi - we would advise this for full colour documents that need to be emailed
• 400 x 400dpi - this is the best quality and will create large documents recommeded for photographs or paintings.

We can also scan documents to JPEG or TIFF files. Please ensure you have enough space on your memory stick as these files will not be compressed like a PDF and be very large especially if scanned at 400dpi.

If you do not have a memory stick and we are able to email the scanned document, if it is less than 10MB. We are happy to do this at extra charge.
