How to Order Digital Embossing

It is important before ordering Digital Embossing for any product to ensure you have all the required information and you have prepared your artwork as per our guidelines for more information on artwork preparation please visit our Creating Artwork for Digital Embossing in the Digital Embossing section. Here is a summary of the informationr required.

1. Prepare your full colour artwork in CMYK as per our guidelines

2. Prepare a black plate to isolate all the areas to be Digitally Embossed

3. Calculate the Percentage Coverage for your coverage. This will be required when ordering your print online.

4. Visit our Print Shop and look for the products with the Digital Embossing Logo, this is under the Optional Extras header

In our online shop all products that are eligible for Digital Embossing display the Digital Embossing Logo and ordering options under the Optional Extras header.

Stage 1 - Is to decide if you require Digital Embossing on your product.



Stage 2 - Selecting 'YES' will display more options which include

• Choice of Digital Embossing Depths Low Lift or High Lift
• Low Lift - With Low Lift Digital Emboss the effect is somewhat similar (though there is still much more texture) to the very highest high lift Spot UV varnish. Plus, of course, there are the overwhelming advantages of a pin point accurate register, ability to emboss complex shapes and an environmentally friendly process.
• High Lift - With High Lift Digital Emboss the real creative advantages of Embossing come to the fore. The effectiveness of the embellishment is immediately apparent. The normal reaction is instant approval, no questions, simply 'to see it is to love it'.
• Number of Sides to be Digital Embossed
• The quantity to be embossed

Stage 3 - Is to tell us what percentage coverage is to be Digitally Embossed. 

• This is done by selecting from the Coverage bands in the drop down menus

Stage 4 - When you have selected the Digital Embossing specification for your product click 'Calculate Price' and Embossing will be added to the description and total at the bottom of the page.
